Treatment Areas Hair removal can be done on the hairline, eyebrow, ear, top of nose, cheeks, sideburn area, upper and lower lip, chin, throat, neck, shoulders, back, chest, breast, abdomen, arms, legs, bikini area, hands, feet, toes and fingers. We do not treat the inside of the ear canal or the inside of the nose. It is perfectly safe to treat pregnant women, but the breast and abdominal area should not be treated after the sixth month of pregnancy due to tenderness in these areas as well as possible hormone stimulation. |

| What type of skin care is required
after treatment? Electrolysis is a safe and effective method of permanent hair removal with few or no side effects. A slight swelling or redness, along the treated area, is normal and should subside within a few minutes to one hour. Occasionally slight scabbing may appear two to four days after treatment. These temporary scabs should be left alone as they will disappear in a few days. Most electrologists recommend the application of a good antibiotic cream or an antiseptic lotion to enhance the healing process. Cosmetics should be avoided for 24 hours. Sunlight and tanning beds require special consideration and should be discussed with your electrologist. |
